How does the rent reach me?

Do I need to give a power of attorney?

What about TDS on my rental income?
Rent paid to a non-resident owner is subject to tax deduction at source. Our guide explains what applies, with the sections cited, and your statement records rent and deductions so your chartered accountant can file from it.
